Way to go, College Board! Trying to help low income kids with high test scores to apply to college. They’re also trying to increase the numbers of low income minorities in AP courses. Pretty cool.
The kids are getting packets with fee waivers, info and tips on applying to schools, financial aid, and other useful information.
I loooove that they’re doing this!

Los Angeles Unified School District Talks Sex, Tech, and Prevention in the Classroom: CNN
Article chronicling LAUSD teaching Qpid.me as a way to make sex even safer among teens (and adults!)

Check out this site, code.org, where they are campaigning to help kids learn to code! I think this is something kids definitely need to be learning in school (and I wouldn’t mind learning myself!)
